About

|
Good
friends since 1999, Della and Jo have always shared a passion for
artistic expression. Their inspiration for "Immortaleyes"
came to light whilst on holiday in 2001 with their families, in the
small town of Nelson, which is located at the top of the South Island
of New Zealand. |
|
|
|
Whilst
art trailing and absorbing the laid-back culture and fantastic art
scene (as one does in Nelson), they discovered a sculpture which
Della adored, in the words of Della "see it, love it got to have
it", Jo's reply was "No! don't want to buy one, want to
make one", from there the Immortaleyes seed was planted. |

The
first two years were spent gathering information from the Internet
and researching methods, along with the gritty determination of
developing, practicing and perfecting their art form, using power
tools and getting their hands dirty they were laying the foundations
of their dreams, the Immortaleyes seed was now growing. |
|
|
Jo
and Della have similar personalities in that they both are very much
the perfectionists, their views are "If it doesn't say WOW!!! or
we wouldn't hang it on our own wall, then it doesn't leave the
studio". All sculptures must reach the extremely high standards
that they have set to produce the best product available on an
international level. |

|
In
Jo and Della's words; "We believe that we have created the
'Ultimate', it is difficult to describe to people the passion and
pride that we have for what we do, the support and encouragement we
receive is phenomenal and the people we have met thus far is
humbling. We are on the journey of a life time and we invite you to
journey with us along the pathway to Immortalisation" |
