MOLDING:
To
immortalise someone a mold is taken of the actual person. This
process only takes a few minutes and can be done any time or place,
for example Martin Johnson was immortalised at the Media Centre,
Auckland Airport. Because it's a life mold of the actual person it
captures the most intricate of skin texture including finger prints,
scars, and any bumps or lumps specific to that individual. From the
primary mold a secondary silicon mold is made and a pre-determined
number of copies is made from that. Once the series is complete the
silicon mold is then destroyed and no further copies can ever be produced. |
